Prague – In the 22nd round of the first league, the leading Slavia footballers surprisingly lost 0:1 in České Budějovice. At the top of the table, the Praguers are one point ahead of the champions Pilsen, who they will welcome in Saturday's clash. Slovácko defeated Mlada Boleslav 2:1 at home and secured fourth place. Bohemians 1905 won in Liberec 3:1 and are fifth.

The game in Budějovice was decided in the 68th minute by substitute Nigerian Quadri Adediran with the first goal in the Czech league. Slavia did not take advantage of Pilsen's 1:1 draw with Olomouc on Saturday, losing in the highest competition after 10 matches and for the first time since the 0:2 defeat in Olomouc in October.
