Prague – In the 23rd league round, the Slavia footballers defeated Pilsen 2:1 after a turnaround in a direct fight for first place at home. The people of Prague lead the table by two points ahead of city rival Sparta, who won 3:0 in Ostrava. The West Bohemian defending champions fell to third place with a four-point loss to the leading position. Olomouc defeated the weakened České Budějovice 3:0 at home. Zlín drew 2:2 with Hradec Králové on their field.

Pilsen took the lead at the Slavia Stadium from the 16th minute after Tomáš Choré's goal, but Prague turned the score around after a change of sides. In the 50th minute, Peter Olayinka equalized, and in the 76th minute substitute Ondřej Lingr decided in his 150th start in the top competition.
Slavia also won their 12th home match of the league season and scored their twelfth point in Eden with Pilsen with myself. Viktoria partially avenged the autumn defeat 0:3. The West Bohemians did not confirm the position of the best away team in the competition and lost points for the third time in the last four rounds.
Sparta started to triumph in Ostrava already in the first half, when forwards Jan Kuchta and Tomáš Čvančara made their mark in the 17th and 20th minutes. Baník didn't miss the chance and Čvančar added the second goal in the 51st minute.
Letenště won for the sixth time in a row in the top competition. On the other hand, struggling Slezana have not scored in the fourth of the last five rounds and are in 12th place. Ostrava did not beat Sparta in the league for the thirteenth time in a row.
In Olomouc, the key moment came in the 55th minute, when Lukáš Čmelík from České Budějovice received a red card. During the power play, Jan Vodháněl scored twice in the 59th and 63rd minutes, and Antonín Růsek added the third home goal in the 69th minute.
Hanáci won for the first time in the spring after the opening six draws, and extended their unbeaten streak in the top competition to nine matches and improved to fifth place in the table. Dynamo did not confirm the previous 1:0 home win over Slavia, they did not win away for the sixth time in a row and remain thirteenth.
Zlín put Vakhtang Čanturišvili in the lead in the fifth minute, whose goal was answered by Matěj Koubek in the 39th minute, but Libor Kozák gave the home team the lead in the first half. Substitute Daniel Vašulín took care of Hradec's second equalizer in the 72nd minute. The team from Zlín finished without the suspended Jakub Kolář.
“Shoemakers” did not win for the fourth time in a row in the league, yet they moved to the penultimate place in the incomplete table by a score ahead of Pardubice, who have a game to spare. The East Bohemians extended their undefeated outdoor series to four matches and are seventh.
On Sunday, Bohemians 1905 host Pardubice, Mladá Boleslav will face Liberec and Teplice will challenge the newcomer from Brno. The match between Jablonec and Slovácko was postponed due to an unfit field after persistent rain from the past few days and heavy morning snowfall in the north of Bohemia.
