Flattach (Austria) – A 55-year-old Czech skier died this morning on the Mölltal glacier in Austria. It was reported by the APA agency. He apparently collided with another skier and then went down the slope. The police are now investigating whether his death was caused by someone else's fault.

The regional police headquarters in Carinthia said that the accident happened in the morning, at about 10:00 a.m., at an altitude of around 2,900 meters above sea level. The skier was left lying motionless after the collision, the doctor called could no longer revive him. Considering that someone else's fault cannot be ruled out, the public prosecutor ordered an autopsy.
The Czech skier was in the mountains with two friends. The investigation found that one of the friends also fell from the glacier at the same time. The skier, a year older, remained lying a few meters away, but nothing serious happened to him. The police are investigating suspicion of involuntary manslaughter.
