Milan (Italy) – A 20-year-old member of a Czech ski expedition died in the Italian Dolomites. Rescuers found his body in the mountains on Thursday afternoon, writes the website il Dolomiti. The causes of the accident are being investigated by the local prosecutor's office.

Other members of the expedition started missing the young man on Thursday. According to the newspaper il Dolomiti, he did not show up at the agreed meeting place. Among others, the Italian mountain service was involved in the search. The body of a 20-year-old man was finally found on Thursday afternoon near the village of Aurenzo di Cadore.

The cause of death is being investigated by the police and the local prosecutor's office. It is not clear whether the man had an accident or became ill while skiing.
