“A pre-industrial brewhouse has been installed, i.e. a wood-fired boiler, vats and other things that were used for brewing beer at a time when there was no electricity,” said Kvapil. The exhibition will also include a video recording with a brewer who will describe how historical technology was worked with.

The association also agreed on the planned changes to the spatial plan in the locality, which is in the neighborhood of the national natural monument Semínský presyp. It will still be approved by the representatives, after which it will be possible to obtain a building permit for further improvements to the area. They will be based on an architectural study approved by conservationists. In the future, in addition to a mini-brewery with a restaurant and other historical exhibits, for example about Gočár in the attic or about the Seminské spillway in the exterior, the area should also have accommodation capacities in various categories, a congress hall, a beer spa and a wellness center.

< p>The brewery in Semín is part of a heritage-protected castle from the 16th century. It was created at the end of the 17th century, beer was brewed there for more than 200 years. One of the brewers was Josef Gočár's father. The last owner was Jindřich Dvořák, who closed the non-prosperous brewery in 1926. Then the buildings that fell into disrepair were used as warehouses by the Pardubice and Chrudim breweries, there were also apartments in them.

The castle with the brewery in Semín belongs to the company Zámecký pivovar Semín, whose owner is the company Danup holding. The owners are investors in the brewing industry.
