The Sûreté du Québec is continuing its efforts to find Gaetan Vallières-Brochu.

Gaetan Vallières-Brochu was found safe and sound in the Senneterre sector.

The 43-year-old man from Sainte-Gertrude-Manneville was last seen on the evening of May 18. He was in the Saint-Maurice-de-Dalquier area, near Amos.

Sergeant Nancy Fournier reports that many police officers patrolled roads, ranks and forest roads.

The information officer of the Sûreté du Québec points out that the searches undertaken on Saturday are located in sectors conducive to fishing. Helicopter searches also took place over the weekend.

Nancy Fournier also points out that the searches are coordinated in collaboration with the family of Gaetan Vallières-Brochu.

The problem at the moment is that we don't have specific search locations, so we're talking about a vast wooded area to explore. When Mr. Vallière-Brochu's vehicle is located or certain clues lead us to a more precise location, we will be able to deploy other more specialized teams, she explains.
