Fribourg-born Gremaud followed up her surprising success in Beijing, where she defeated Chinese star Eileen Gu. She did not start at the world championship due to an injury from January's X-Games in Aspen.
The men's competition ended with a double triumph for the Norwegians, the Olympic champion in Big Air Ruud won before compatriot Christian Nummedal. The reigning champion from 2021 Andri Ragettli from Switzerland won the bronze.
Czech representative Štěpán Hudeček took 45th place in the qualification and remained far behind the top 16. Not even Matěj Švancer, a native of Prague representing Austria, who was 18th, made it to the finals.
