Washington – At the age of 61, the American actor Tom Sizemore, who became famous for his roles in the films Saving Private Ryan or Black Hawk Down. This was reported by the AP agency with reference to the actor Charles Lago's agent. The actor was hospitalized in Los Angeles in the second half of February after suffering a brain aneurysm.

According to Lag, the actor died at a hospital on Friday.
Tom Sizemore's film and television career spanned several decades, but he is best known for playing the battle-hardened sergeant opposite Tom Hanks in the war drama Saving Private Ryan from 1998, and as a military battalion commander in the movie Black Hawk Down from 2001. In 2000, he was nominated for the award for best actor for his role in the TV movie Witness Protection. In recent years, however, he appeared more in smaller and low-cost films.
Practically throughout his acting career, Sizemore struggled with drug addiction and got into trouble with the law several times. He was in prison from 2007 to 2009 for drug violations. He was convicted of, among other things, assaulting a former girlfriend, and went to rehab for addiction to methamphetamine and heroin. He has been arrested numerous times in recent years for driving under the influence and possession of narcotics.
