Linz – Czech tennis player Markéta Vondroušová will play the semifinals on the WTA circuit after a year. In today's quarter-finals at the tournament in Linz, Hungarian Dalma Gálfiová gave up her match due to health problems.

< p>Vondroušová hasn't lost a set in Austria yet, and today she stayed on the court for only twenty minutes. Gálfiová was first treated and then gave up the match at 4:1 for the 23-year-old Czech.
For the final, Vondrousová will face the eighth-seeded Russian Anastasija Potapova, who she defeated 2:6, 6:4, 6:1 German Anna-Lena Friedsam. The Czech tennis player won both duels so far in 2019 without losing a set.
So far, Vondroušová has played for the title four times on the WTA circuit and succeeded only in the first case in 2017 in Biel. She last appeared in the finals in 2019 at Roland Garros.
