New York – Hockey Detroit defenseman Filip Hronek ended his wait for a goal in the NHL after almost two months. He helped the Red Wings win 5:2 over Vancouver with his eighth goal of the season.

Twenty-five-year-old Hronek has been waiting for a goal since December 17 for exactly 20 games. He made it 43 today after moving closer to the Canucks goal from the blue to make it 4-1.
