The team will be comprised of five women and five men, and six of them have already participated in the olympic Games.

Quebec’s Alex Harvey will lead the team of ten cross-country skiers who will represent Canada at the world Championships in nordic skiing which will take place from 19 February to 3 march in Seefeld, Austria, has announced the cross country Canada by way of a press release on Monday.

The team will be comprised of five women and five men, and six of them have already participated in the olympic Games.

This is the case of Harvey, of St-Ferréol-les-Neiges, as well as his experienced teammates Len Valjas, of Toronto, and Russell Kennedy of Canmore, Alberta. The hopes Evan Palmer-Charrette, Thunder Bay, Ontario, and Scott Hill, of Toronto, to complement the men’s team.

In ladies, a considerable Cendrine Browne, of St-Jerome, and Katherine Stewart-Jones of Chelsea, have won their ticket to the World. They will be accompanied by the casting machines Emily Nishikawa, who finished 25th in the Tour de ski earlier this season, and Dahria Beatty, each of Whitehorse, in the Yukon, as well as Maya MacIsaac-Jones, of Athabasca, Alberta.
