Rio Grande (Puerto Rico) – Amateur Jiří Zuska became the first Czech golfer in history to compete in the elite series of the PGA Tour. At the Puerto Rico Open, he finished the first day of play two shots under par.

Zusk made an eagle on the fifteenth hole during his successful debut and made three birdies. But he also bogeyed on three occasions. The tournament in Rio Grande will last until Sunday, and the first round is still underway.
The twenty-four-year-old golfer qualified for the tournament by finishing second overall at last year's Elite Amateur Series. Zuska is currently ranked 61st in the WAGR amateur rankings, and plans to switch to professionals in the summer.
