This comes two days after the coordinator of the United Nations mission in Libya, Residen Zeninga, announced that the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum, held in Geneva, on Friday, failed to reach an agreement on the constitutional basis, amid disagreement over 3 proposals regarding it.
According to the sources, Norland, who was also appointed by the US State Department as a special envoy to Libya, will confirm in the meetings his country’s position in support of holding the elections on their scheduled date, December 24, and his tour will include meetings with the parties that have obstructed reaching the constitutional base so far.
