Arrested accomplice Taghi was missing for years | Abroad

Gerel P. was born on Curaçao, but grew up in Nieuwegein. His life largely took place on the streets, and that is how he came into contact with the youth gang Bad Boys, to which he also belonged, according to the police. Members of this youth group often come into contact with the police later on; it’s Ridouan Taghi’s gang. P. also finds himself early on the criminal path and enters the world of drug trafficking. In 2001 P. shoots a childhood friend in a coffee shop after a conflict over drugs. He escaped the hands of the police for some time, but was eventually arrested and sentenced to nine years in prison. His cousin was acquitted on appeal.
