The video referee initially disallowed Robinson's own goal for Arsenal due to offside, but Gabriel's strike was already valid and Martinelli, the team's top scorer with twelve goals, and captain Ödegaard, who scored his tenth of the season, also made it into the break. January signing Trossard scored an assist on all three goals.
In the 77th minute, Brazil's Gabriel Jesus earned a thunderous applause from the visiting fans, who started for the first time since the knee injury from the World Cup in November. In the 85th minute, he almost scored, but his shot from close range went straight to the goalkeeper Leno.
West Ham, with Tomáš Souček in the lineup, only drew 1:1 with Aston Villa at home and is only out of the relegation positions thanks to the score. The visitors took the lead with Watkins' goal, but Benrahmo equalized from the penalty spot before the half-hour mark. Souček played a full portion of minutes, his national teammate Vladimír Coufal is still suffering from a heel injury.
Manchester United, after the historic 0:7 debacle on the field of their rival from Liverpool, did not give a goal even to the last Southampton and drew 0:0 with them at home. Most of the match was played by the “Red Devils” in a weakened state, because in the 34th minute midfielder Casemiro received a red card for rough play. In third place in the table, United are already 16 points behind Arsenal and have only two more than Tottenham. They still have a game to spare against both rivals.
