Prague – The State Veterinary Administration (SVS) is lifting the ban on outdoor poultry farming from Friday. She announced it in mid-December due to the spread of bird flu, and now, according to veterinarians, the infection situation in the Czech Republic has improved. SVS spokesman Petr Vorlíček stated this in a press release today. 17 outbreaks of infection have been confirmed this year, most recently in Krušovice in Rakovnick.
Director of the SVS veterinary section, Petr Šatrán, called on breeders to continue to be aware of the high risk of infection, to protect their farms from contact with wild birds and to observe the rules of biological safety.
