Atlético Madrid outclassed Sevilla 6-1 in Simeon's record match

Madrid – In the 24th round of the Spanish league, the players of Atlético Madrid outclassed Sevilla 6:1 and scored for the eighth time in a row. Memphis Depay and Álvaro Morata contributed two goals. With a great victory, coach Diego Simeone celebrated a record 613th game on the Atlético bench.

The cannonade started with two goals by Depay in the 23rd and 26th minutes. Nasirí responded six minutes before half-time, but then Griezmann, Carrasco and, in the last quarter of an hour, the team's top scorer Morata scored twice.
