Earlier this week, the federal government announced the creation of a new social program, Auxílio Brasil, which will replace Bolsa Família. The new program will implement the benefits and is scheduled to start in November. It is estimated that there will be a readjustment of at least 50% of the social program, which is currently R$189. The new benefit, therefore, can pay, on average, R$283.50.
Within Auxílio Brasil there are nine different types of benefits. The first three form the basic core of the new program, while the others complement it with tools for socioeconomic inclusion.
