Mladá Boleslav – Mladá Boleslav football players drew 2:2 at home with Český Budějovice in the 21st round of the first league. Vasil Kušej opened the scoring in the 13th minute, Benjamin Čolič equalized from the penalty spot in the 43rd minute. In the 58th minute, Vojtěch Kubist put the home side in the lead again, but in the 78th minute, Martin Králik closed the score.

Mladá Boleslav was the better team in the first half, just like a week ago when they won against Hradec Králové (1:0), the attacking duo of Kušej and Ladra were a threat. After several promising actions in the 13th minute, Mareček sent Kušej on the run, who went around goalkeeper Janáček and finished into an empty goal. The member of the under-21 national team followed up on the hit from the previous round and scored the second goal in the fifth league match.
The goal scorer was soon able to prepare a second strike for Ladra, who himself shot past Janáček. The České Budějovice coaching duo Nikl and Zápotočný reached into the lineup even before the break, Mršič was replaced by Zajíc. Nevertheless, the home team could have increased the score again, but Ladra sent Kušej's next ideal pass only into the post.
Shortly before the end of the half, the visiting team had a rare chance. Suchomel played with his hand in the goal and referee Batík ordered a penalty kick after consulting with the video referee. Seda caught the shot, but missed Čolič's attempt and the Bosnian defender scored his first league goal.
Kubist gave the home side the lead after less than an hour of play. The summer signing from Central Bohemia handled the ball on the edge of the box and scored the third league goal of the season with a precise shot on the front post.
The balanced second half otherwise did not offer many chances to score. It wasn't until the 78th minute that goalkeeper Šeda slid down the center from a corner kick and Králik hit the open goal with his head. The Dynamo captain made his mark for the first time since the opening round and the match against Pardubice.
Mladá Boleslav's match with České Budějovice ended in a draw for the first time since October 2020 and six matches. Central Bohemia did not win at home in the league for the third time in a row, but in the Lokotrans Arena they succeeded in the role of the visiting team a week ago against Hradec Králové.
