The occupants of a vehicle abandoned a pooch dog on Wednesday afternoon dle in the parking sector of the Paicaví Remodeling departments, in the heart of Concepción. The Neighborhood Board confirmed that it is considering filing legal actions against the person responsible.
A security camera captured the cruel abandonment suffered by a little dog in the Paicaví Remodeling sector in Concepción, in the Bío Bío region. The registry shows the dog trying to follow the vehicle.
The situation occurred on Wednesday afternoon, at about 7:48 p.m., when the occupants of a gray vehicle abandoned a poodle in the parking lot.< /strong>
In the registry, a man is observed with a box and the dog at his side. Then, the subject gets into the vehicle and begins his journey, leaving the pet below.
Noticing the situation, the dog tries to follow the car until it stops and watches it until she loses sight of them.

Miguel Ángel Berríos, president of the Paicaví Remodeling Board, told BioBioChile that “our security cameras showed how a person left behind a dog. This caused a lot of impact in our community” ;.
In this context, it is that the neighbors managed to capture the license plate of the vehicle, which could facilitate the identification of the driver.
Berríos confirmed that They are evaluating taking legal action against the author of this act of animal abuse.
“This person never imagined the impact that this event here would have on our Paicaví Remodeling”, he said and added that “what he did is evil, it can even be seen when the dog tries to follow the car”.
They are looking for a family
Natalie Gaete was with her boyfriend when they found the poodle, so they decided to help her.
“My boyfriend saw her and approached us, he showed us the waffle, so very tender. We thought that someone was walking her & # 8221 ;, she recounted.
She asked in the adjoining buildings if anyone recognized the animal, but when she didn’t get an answer, she decided to take it to her house.
“The dog was poorly cared for, although she was not skinny, I found ticks on her, her hair was dirty and a lot of rheum”, said Gaete, criticizing that “people dispose of dogs like trash”.
The woman published photos of the dog to find a family for her, stating that she has received many calls, but is looking for the best adopter.
The sanctions that are risked for animal abuse
According to what is established in the Penal Code (article 291 bis), three figures of animal abuse are distinguished:
– If the mistreatment causes serious impairment to the physical integrity or generates the death of the animal, it will be punished with a prison sentence of 541 days to 3 years, a fine of 20 to 30 UTM and the absolute perpetual incapacity for the possession of any type of animal.
– If the abuse causes physical damage that does not seriously impair its physical integrity or cause the death of the animal, imprisonment from 61 days to 3 years, a fine of 10 to 30 UTM and absolute perpetual inability to own any type of animal.
– Any other mistreatment that does not cause physical damage to the animal, imprisonment from 61 days to 3 years and/or a fine from 2 to 30 UTM.
