Prague – Brno football players were relegated from the first league after only one season. Zbrojovka had to beat Zlín at home in a direct battle to stay in the top competition, but in the duel of the last fifth round of the superstructure group, they only played a goalless draw with it. “Shoemaker” awaits next week's playoff for retention with Vyškov. Pardubice won 4:2 in Ostrava and will challenge Příbram in the play-off. Teplice won 2:0 in Jablonec in a direct fight for the final 12th place.

At the same time, after the autumn 16 rounds, Zbrojovka had a ten-point lead over the then last Pardubice. In April, the sacked coach Richard Dostálek was replaced by Martin Hašek, who experienced a winning debut. In the remaining eight rounds, however, his wards did not win. Brno did not score in the fifth of the last six rounds. Even striker Jakub Řezníček, with 19 goals the second best scorer of the league season, did not prevent the relegation.

Ostrava took the lead against Pardubice with a lightning-quick goal by Muhamed Tijani in the 27th second, but a certain participant in the tie then turned the situation around with three strikes at the turn of the halves. Ladislav Krobot's goal fit in between Denis Darmovzal's two hits. Tijani then reduced from the penalty spot, but substitute Leandro Lima set the final score. The East Bohemians won in the league on the Ostrava pitch for the first time at the fourth attempt after three defeats, in which they conceded three times each time.

Coach Radoslav Kováč's men triumphed in the top competition in the third of the last four matches, finishing 14th, and next week they will face Příbram in a playoff for retention. They will play their first match on Thursday on their pitch, and three days later they will welcome them home.

Baník said goodbye to the league season with a second defeat in a row and eleventh place, which he was already certain of before today's match.

Jablonec and Teplice already had a certain salvation after the previous round. Abdallah Gning put the guests in the lead after half an hour, and Matěj Radosta added a goal right after the break.

Teplice confirmed their good form after the arrival of coach Zdenko Frťala, who succeeded against the former club, and scored the seventh time in the last eight rounds. Jablonec, on the other hand, won only one of the last 11 league matches, lost twice in a row 0:2 and took 13th place in an unsuccessful season.
