Chicago – The Milwaukee Bucks won their 12th game in a row after defeating Chicago 112-100. The Bucks are just one win behind league leaders Boston, but have a game to spare. However, Janis Adetokunbo was injured. The two-time most valuable player of the competition injured his wrist and retired in the first half. It is not yet certain whether he will be able to participate in this weekend's All-Star Game, in which he is supposed to be one of the captains.

At the start of the second quarter, Adetokunbo tried to block Coby White from behind, but then tripped over him and fell into the frame of the basket. With a painful grimace and an injured wrist, he withdrew from the game. “We'll see how he feels tomorrow and hopefully the x-rays don't show anything wrong. I have no idea if he'll go to the All-Star Game,” Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer said.

Before that, Adetokunbo managed to collect 9 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists in nine minutes. In total, he already has 3,274 assists in ten seasons in the Bucks jersey, which is a new Milwaukee club record. By two assists, he surpassed Paul Pressey's all-time high from 1982 to 1990.

By the time Adetokunbo stepped down, Milwaukee had a seven-point lead and would hold on until the end. Especially Brook Lopez took care of it with 33 points, Jevon Carter added 22 points. Nikola Vucevic had 22 points and 16 rebounds for Chicago. However, the Bulls converted only 38 percent of their shots.

The Los Angeles Clippers won 116:107 over Phoenix and moved ahead of Phoenix to fourth place in the Western Conference. Paul George and Terance Mann contributed 26 points. The Suns were still playing without injured Kevin Durant, and Josh Okogie was the top scorer with 24 points. Devin Booker had 19 points but only one three-pointer, which was still enough to tie Steve Nash's club record of 1,051 three-pointers.

Although Washington did not manage the start of the match against Minnesota and lost by up to 20 points, it managed to erase the deficit and won 114:106. Bradley Beal contributed 35 points, scoring 13 of them in the final four and a half minutes. The Wizards led for the first time until a minute before the end, when Kyle Kuzma scored to make it 107:106.
