The next game in the classic first-person shooter saga, Call of Duty: Vanguard, is a few months away from reaching consoles and PC. While Activision Blizzard (editors) and the Sledgehammer study finalize details before launch, fans will try this weekend a free sample of the expected multiplayer mode, which this Tuesday was revealed worldwide.

Before its official debut, Clarion together with media from the region and influencers tested one of the game modes most popular with fans. During the private session a handful of scenarios were enabled out of the 20 that will be available on November 5, when the video game finally reaches the consoles and the PC.

With a game mechanic that takes up the experience of traditional Call of Duty combat throughout its titles based on the Second World War, but with the addition of graphical improvements and a mechanic that takes full advantage of the technical characteristics of the PlayStation 5 and its DualSense haptic control, the multiplayer of Vanguard once again captivates the fan of the saga.

What’s new in Vanguard multiplayer?

Across 4 maps –Gavutu, Hotel Royal, Eagle’s Nest and Red Star– Players were measured in various combat modes, including the classic Team Duel, Dominion, Confirmed Kill, and Search and Destroy.

As the game progresses so do weapons, at least up to level 30, which will allow you to unlock various accessories to improve and balance your stats to suit the player looking for the best possible version.

In the weapons catalog there is a choice between assault rifles (2), LMGs (2), snipers (2), shotguns (2) and pistols (2). The list is limited, obviously, but that does not detract from the experience in this free version.

Call of Duty: Vanguard comes with new kill streaks. Attack dogs can make a difference.

Also, in the weapon customization part, appear new “streaks” that allow you to take advantage of reaching a certain number of deaths continuously. For example, by getting ten casualties can be unlocked a special attack with dogs of the Doberman breed that hunt down enemies for a period of time and become unpredictable.

In this multiplayer section of Call of Duty Vanguard we will also put ourselves in the shoes of some of the characters that we will later see in the campaign of the game, popularly known as “story mode”, in which the four main characters -Polina Petrova, Wade Jackson, Arthur Kingsley and Lucas Riggs- who are available randomly.
