Prague – Gabriela Satková took third place at the World Cup in Troy and took care of the only medal for the home team in canoe races. The best man in Czech colors was Václav Chaloupka in sixth place. The winners were reigning Olympic champions Benjamin Savšek from Slovenia and Australian Jessica Foxová, who already dominated Friday's kayak race in Prague.

Jiří Prskavec failed to attack a similar double. After Friday's triumph at K1, he was the fastest in the semi-finals today, but the decisive ride did not suit him and he took ninth place with a big loss. Lukáš Rohan closed the final ten due to missed goals and a fifty-second penalty, the same fate met Tereza Kneblová in the women's race.
