Temuera Morrison will be returning to the franchise.
Crusader in the universe of Star Wars these last days on console, in the video game Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Temuera Morrison will return to the TV saga in the series Ahsoka, which will soon arrive on Disney Plus (reports One Take News).
The New Zealand actor – revealed in Attack of the Clones in the early 2000s as the bounty hunter who served as the model for making the famous “clones” that would later fill the armor of the stormtroopers of Star Wars – will come to embody one of his doubles in Ahsoka. He should play Captain Rex, a character well known to fans of the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars (voiced at the time by Dee Bradley Baker). He is one of the few clones able to resist the infamous Order 66 after Ahsoka removed her inhibitor chip.
BesidesThe Clone Wars, Captain Rex has also appeared in other animated series in the saga, including Rebelsand The Bad Batch . And precisely, Star Wars: Ahsoka, which takes place just after the fall of the Empire, will be the direct continuation – and in live action – of the stories told in the iterations animated.
