According to Monika Nováková, the spokeswoman for the rescue service, there are two injuries at the scene, one was taken to the Kladno hospital by paramedics, the other remained on the spot after treatment. They are volunteer firefighters, confirmed ČTK Kereková after 1:30 p.m. The ban on ventilation has not yet been issued, said Vít Heral, the spokesperson of the Kladno town hall.

Smoke can be seen at least ten kilometers from Kladno, but the fire is not in a residential area. So far, according to Kereková, no special measures have been announced for the residents of Kladno. Firefighters went to the fire before 12:00. “There are 16 units of firefighters on site, an area of 20 by 30 meters, up to five floors high, is on fire,” said Kereková. According to her, the intervention will take a long time.
“We are in contact with the regional hygiene station, which has not yet issued a ban on opening windows, but citizens are advised to do so. If anyone smells a chemical substance in the air, please report it to the regional hygiene station possibly to the environment department of the Kladno municipality,” informed the spokesperson of the town hall.
The spokeswoman of the rescue service informed about two injured men. “Currently, we have reported one leg injury and one collapse,” said Nováková. A man was taken to hospital with a knee injury.
