The determination to schedule the opening of the Cau Cau Bridge for the weekend at morning is to impact vehicular flows across the bridge as little as possible, according to the Public Works Seremi, Nuvia Peralta.
Although the agency did not explain why this decision was not adopted before, after the obvious disturbances and complaints from users, they did indicate that what was decided resulted from the work of an intersectoral table of a technical nature, a measure that debuts this Saturday with the opening number 42 from the Cau Cau bridge, Peralta said.
Likewise, the traffic closure at the bridge accesses began this Friday at 07:30 a.m., scheduling -subsequently- at 09:30 a.m. hours the fluvial transit of the Andalué ferry, which left from the Asenav company in the direction of the coast.
Meanwhile, the reopening of vehicular traffic was set for 11:15 am, reported the MOP in the Los Rios Region.
