Champions: decisive home factor.  Ok Benfica, Malmo and Young Boys

The Portuguese beat PSV, the Swiss beat Ferencvaros and the Swedes beat Ludogorets. Celtic wins in the Europa League preliminaries

European football night with three matches of the first leg of the Champions League playoffs: Benfica, Malmo and Young Boys win, who take advantage of the home factor.

Benfica beat Psv Eindhoven 2-1 with goals from Silva and Weigl, both in the first half: for the Dutch, Gakpo’s goal, in the second half, keeps the hopes of qualification open.

The Young Boys imposes 3-2 on the Hungarians of Ferencvaros. Elia, Sierro and Garcia scored for the Swiss, who had lost Hefti in the first half by expulsion. Boli signs the two Hungarian goals.

Finally, the Swedes of Malmo set the Bulgarians of Ludogorets 2-0: Birmancevic and Berget score.

The return matches are next Tuesday.

PLAYOFF OF EUROPA LEAGUE

The first leg of the Europa League playoffs was also played. One goal per half and Celtic Glasgow beat Dutch Az Alkmaar. Furuhashi and Forrest score. Next Thursday the return to Holland.
