The Galaxy Book family continues to grow. After learning about the Galaxy Book Pro, Pro 360 and the standard model, now comes the Go version, your Windows laptop focused on mobility and with Qualcomm processors inside.
The new Samsung Galaxy Book Go is an inexpensive laptop with 14-inch screen and two versions, one with LTE connectivity and the other with 5G that will arrive during the second half of the year. These are the characteristics of the Galaxy Book Go, an equivalent to the Chromebook but with Windows 10 and Microsoft’s software to link the laptop with the mobile.

A lightweight laptop with connectivity and 180 degree folding hinge
Samsung’s new laptop incorporates a 14-inch screen with FullHD resolution. We have a device with a silver finish and relatively narrow screen edges. Samsung explains that it offers “military durability” and beyond its resistance, we have a body that weighs 1.38 kg, quite light and that will allow it to be moved anywhere easily to take advantage of its integrated connectivity.
The chassis has a 14.9mm thickness. We are not facing Samsung’s lightest laptop, we leave that to the Pro models, but it does take advantage of the fact that it has more humble characteristics to lighten weight.
Inside we find the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2, a mid-range model designed precisely for this type of inexpensive laptops. The 5G model, which will arrive during the second half of the year, will take a leap and will come with the Qualcomm 8cx Gen 2 processor, considerably more powerful and designed to rival the Intel Core i5.
We also have two versions for memory and storage, an entry model with 4 and 64 GB and another with 8 GB and 128 GB. For the battery we have about 42.3 Wh that promise about 18 hours of autonomy. As usually happens in these laptops with more efficient chipsets, the autonomy is very high.
The screen of the Galaxy Book Go can be opened 180º thanks to its folding hinge and we have speakers with Dolby Atmos sound. At the connectivity level we have WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.1 and a NanoSIM slot option to have LTE connectivity.
For the operating system, it is committed to Windows 10 with applications to link with the mobile such as ‘Link to Windows’ and ‘Microsoft Your Phone’. Samsung promotes that this Galaxy Book Go is designed to quickly synchronize with your phones, tablets or with the Galaxy Buds headphones.
Galaxy Book Go versions and price
The new Samsung Galaxy Book Go will be available from this June in different markets. Its price part of the $ 349 for the WiFi model, without specifying for the moment the cost of the most complete versions. We will update when Samsung shares these details, as well as its price in euros for Spain.
