Friday, 8 may, prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles have made a small departure from the containment to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second world War.
An event that they wanted to celebrate in spite of the situation. Friday, may 8, many european countries have commemorated the end of the Second world War, and the pandemic of sars coronavirus continues to make many victims. If the rallies were not called for, some leaders have decided to celebrate this day in a small group. In the uk, Elizabeth II will deliver a speech on tv, the fifth of his reign, to pay tribute to the victims, while airplanes have flown over in the morning Buckingham Palace.
But those who have made a small departure from the containment are not other than prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles. Confined, in Scotland, in their mansion of Birkhall, the royal couple observed two minutes of silence in front of a monument to the dead near Balmoral, where the prince laid a wreath of flowers, while his wife left a bouquet with a note. A moving scene, punctuated by the sound of the bagpipes, for the couple who has celebrated the 9th of April last his 15 years of marriage with an adorable photo unedited.
