The renewal of Sergio Pérez with Red Bull Racing will bring more than stability to the driver’s performance in the current Formula 1 season . And it is that, according to the specialized portal racingnews365.com, the new contract signed by the Mexican will mean an increase in base salary to ten million dollars per year.
That is, for the start of the 2023 championship, Checo will earn twice what he currently earns (five million). All this without including the bonuses that he can generate according to the objectives fulfilled in the development of the competition. In his first year as a member of the Austrian team, Pérez earned approximately 18 million dollars, according to an estimate made by Forbes magazine.
“Winning the Monaco Grand Prix it’s a dream for any pilot andcelebrating my first victory there with this announcement that I will continue in @redbullracing until 2024 is just the icing on the cake”, wrote the native of Jalisco, Mexico, when announcing the news about the extension of his bond with the team.

The present of the Mexican driver is the best moment that he records in more than ten years of career in the highest category of motorsports. His arrival at Red Bull has represented a significant leap in quality both individually and collectively.
