New York – Filip Chytil helped the New York Rangers in the NHL with a goal to win 4:3 over Vancouver and scored in the fifth game in a row. He took seven wickets during the series. Radek Faksa scored the difference in Dallas' 4-1 win over Minnesota.

Chytil followed up Chris Kreider's opening goal and made it 2-0 in the ninth minute. The Czech forward took a pass from Kaapo Kakka in the area in front of the goal and switched the puck from his forehand to his backhand, with which he sent the puck over the catcher of Martin Spencer. Chytil scored his 19th goal of the season, scoring 11 times in 13 games since January 3.

Jamie Benn opened the scoring from a breakaway and Jani Hakanpää completed the successful passage of Dallas.
