The electricity company Transelec is in the process of repairing the demolished towers during an attack in Hualqui, an act of violence that occurred on September 4, 2022, during the constitutional exit plebiscite. Government agencies will supervise the work.

Consulted the chief of the Investigative Police in the Bío Bío region, Carlos Díaz, he indicated that for the moment there are no substantial advances in this investigation, which is being carried out by a person from the area.
While the presidential delegate, Daniela Dresdner, indicated that he expects progress to be made by the civil police in this case and announced that they are preparing a security plan to protect this type of infrastructure in the area.
It is estimated that this Thursday a visit to the sector of the high tension towers in Hualqui by authorities of the Seremi de Energía and the Superintendencia de Electricidad y Combustibles, in order to supervise the work of Transelec.
