FC Seoul is going to have to put the hand to the pocket. The football club of the south Korean capital was sentenced on Thursday 21 may, to pay a record fine of 100 million won (74 000 euros) to have filled its stands empty with dolls sexual. The football League of the country justifies this sanction, stating that the club was “deeply humbled his fans of the female gender”.

After reviewing the file, the K-League has accepted the argument advanced by the FC Seoul according to which he did not know that it was sex toys. The League pointed out, however, that he “would have easily been able to recognize their use in demonstrating the exercise of good sense and experience”.
“The controversy around this incident (…) was deeply humiliated and hurt the fans of female sex [and] undermined the integrity of the league”, stressed the K-League in a press release. FC Seoul, which has accepted this decision, apologized and promised that such acts would not happen not. It is the heaviest fine imposed by the K-League in thirty-eight years of existence.
