But what are all the sports that are in danger. Seven of the 30 professional clubs of French rugby are questioning their future. Rugby, basketball or handball are dependent on tickets sold. Playing behind closed doors would send many clubs to the mat. Only football could survive a recovery without spectators. In the meantime, the professional clubs rely on part-time unemployment to stay afloat.
