Pascale Maltais is charged with drug trafficking, conspiracy, concealment and breach of trust.
L' ;former correctional officer allegedly committed these offenses while employed at the Amos detention center in the fall of 2020.
The 29-year-old woman was arrested last March by the Major Crimes Investigation Division of the Sûreté du Québec and appeared in court on Wednesday.
