A couple reported having been robbed inside a motel located on the road between Concepción and Penco, where a stranger fled with a cell phone. The criticism of the victims is due to the lack of security measures in place, which will also make the investigation more complex to find the antisocial.
In the early hours of November 5, a couple was a victim of a robbery inside the Motel Nevada, located on the road between Concepción and Penco, in the Bío Bío region.
While they were sleeping and almost at dawn, they found themselves in the room with a stranger who was checking the clothing.
The victim, Alcira López, reported that after being confronted by her partner, the offender entered the bathroom, from where he fled with his partner's cell phone.
& #8220;We were asleep, and he hears a noise, and realizes that there is a man in the room, who had already been next to us, and had already taken out a cell phone,” commented the affected.
He also said that “the man enters the bathroom and hides behind the curtain, closes the door, but manages to see his feet, that he was wearing black shoes, blue pants (…)”.
The empathy and reaction of the staff to what happened was nil, said the woman, obtaining a response only from the police, who arrived at the motel and began the investigation.

The victims' lawyer, Macarena Concha, referred to the negligence of the motel for providing a service without security measures for its clients, and stressing that the lack of cameras, for example, will make the investigation even more complex to find the antisocial.
“In the Motel Nevada there were not only no security cameras, but also no secure perimeter closures, emergency protocols, security guards. All this makes it difficult for the police, and also for the Public Ministry (…)”, accused Concha.
< p>In the personal place of the Nevada Motel, he slipped doubts about the robbery complaint, stressing that it is only the version that the couple gave, while regarding the security measures, he assured that there are video cameras that could be required by the Prosecutor's Office to investigation charge.
