The inhabitants of Seine-Saint-Denis, Val-d’oise, in the Val-de-Marne, Hauts-de-Seine, Yvelines, Essonne and Seine-et-Marne, therefore, have started to receive their ” invitation “, or, more precisely, a good prescription Insurance, sent by email or mail.
This good gives the opportunity to more than a million people from 10 years old to get tested free of charge, in the lab or in a dedicated center. These screening tests virological of the Covid-19 are not mandatory, but the participation of the inhabitants is, therefore, a sine qua non condition of the success of this operation unprecedented and unparalleled in France.
Indeed, this campaign of massive and unprecedented goal is to identify what the health authorities call clusters dormant. These are territories where there is a viral reservoir ” with asymptomatic persons can transmit the virus without knowing it “, according to the ministry of Solidarity and health.
The choice of the common
It is the regional Agency of health (ARS) Ile-de-France who has established the list of municipalities which take place in the test campaign. It has to do this, selected three criteria : the rate of infections compared to the national average, the proportion of tests carried out up to then, as well as the economic and social situation of the commune.
If this experiment proves successful, other campaigns could, however, be organized has already warned the minister of Health Olivier Véran.
