The employer is responsible for the safety and health of its employees. While many of the activities will resume from entry into the first phase of déconfinement, the ministry of Labour has issued clear and specific recommendations by sector. They are there to preserve the health of employees, limiting the spread of the coronavirus, while allowing for a beginning of economic recovery.
Telework, and the reorganization of time and work space to preserve the distances in social between employees (and customers if applicable), information and awareness-raising and working instructions : the bosses have a lot of work to do to allow their employees to work while limiting the spread of coronaviruses. On the website of the ministry of Labour, several tens of sheets advice by profession, have been published. They allow to know, in function of the specificity of the business, the measures put in place by employers.
The sectors in which the mask is mandatory ?
Only the personal caregiver must wear a mask. In other sectors, the provision by the employer, and the port mask is not required. Unless the measures of social distancing may not be met continuously.
Reorganisation of time and work spaces
On the cards trades offered on the website of the ministry of Labour, we read that telework should remain the rule as soon as it can be implemented. If it is not possible, any employer is obliged to enable each person present in his company to have a space of 4 m2. This may be done by an offset of the schedules of entry and exit in order to limit the number of employees simultaneously in the company.
But also by a reorganization of work spaces, individual and common. Thus, to the extent possible, a sense of movement needs to be put in place to ensure that staff do not intersect in a small space. The number of people present in the common areas (elevators, meeting rooms or break) must also be limited in order to allow for the fulfilment of gestures barriers, starting by the social distancing.
Ventilation of confined spaces and disinfection of surfaces and objects
The closed rooms must be ventilated for 15 minutes every three hours. The objects and surfaces touched should be cleaned thoroughly on a regular basis.
Hydroalcoholic Gel for the personal contact with customers
In addition, for some trades, by nature, destined to come into contact relatively narrow and repeated to employees and customers (delivery drivers, and hairdressers), the provision of hydroalcoholic gel is mandatory. Objective : employees can sanitize their hands between each client. In the case of non-supply of materials essential to the protection against coronavirus, any employee may assert his right of withdrawal.
