There are 5,923 new Coronavirus infections in Italy today, 8 September 2021, according to Covid-19 data – region by region – in the bulletin of the Civil Protection and the Ministry of Health. Also recorded another 69 deaths. The total of cases rises to 4,585,423, that of victims to 129,707. 301,980 swabs more carried out than yesterday with a positivity rate of 2%. Patients with symptoms decreased (-72), dropping to 4,235, while there is one more hospitalization than yesterday in intensive care with a total of 564 hospitalized and 38 admissions on the day. 8,058 more those discharged and recovered, bringing the total to 4,324,135. FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA – There are 240 coronavirus infections in Friuli Venezia Giulia today, 8 September 2021, according to the covid-19 data of the region’s bulletin. One dead recorded. In detail, 218 new infections were detected on 5,528 molecular swabs (including 7 migrants / asylum seekers, 6 in the Trieste area and one in Udine) with a positive percentage of 3.94%.

There are also 3,981 rapid antigenic tests performed from which 22 cases (0.55%) were detected. The number of people hospitalized in intensive care has dropped to 12 and 51 are hospitalized in other wards. Overall, the deaths amounted to 3,808

The deaths concern a 77-year-old man residing in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari and an 85-year-old man residing in the Province of Southern Sardinia.

Patients admitted to intensive care units are 28 (2 fewer than yesterday), 226 (6 fewer than yesterday) in the medical area. There are 5,736 people in home isolation (-293 compared to yesterday).

ABRUZZO – There are 123 new coronavirus infections in Abruzzo according to today’s bulletin, 8 September. On the other hand, there are no new deaths. The new cases are between the ages of 1 and 90 and bring the total from the beginning of the emergency to 79,785. In the total was also included a case dating back to the past few weeks and previously not reported. The death toll of patients does not register new cases and remains stable at 2,534.

The number of positive cases also includes 75,061 discharged / healed (+98 compared to yesterday). This was communicated by the Regional Health Department. The currently positives in Abruzzo (calculated by subtracting the number of discharged / cured and deceased from the total of positives) are 2190 (+26 compared to yesterday), the total also includes 422 cases concerning patients lost to follow up since the beginning of emergency, on which checks are underway. 80 patients (-3 compared to yesterday) hospitalized in the medical area; 6 (unchanged compared to yesterday) in intensive care, while the other 2104 (+29 compared to yesterday) are in home isolation with active surveillance by the ASL.

In the last 24 hours, 2795 molecular swabs were performed (1351810 in total since the start of the emergency) and 3552 antigen tests (736701). The positivity rate, calculated on the sum of molecular swabs and antigen tests of the day, is equal to 1.93 percent.

PIEDMONT – There are 264 coronavirus infections in Piedmont today, 8 September 2021, according to the covid-19 data of the region’s bulletin. One dead recorded.

In detail, the 264 new cases of people who tested positive for Covid-19 (of which 25 after antigen tests) are equal to 1.5% of 17,711 swabs performed, of which 12,123 antigenic. Of the 264 new positives, 116 were asymptomatic (43.9%).

There are 23 hospitalized in intensive care (unchanged compared to yesterday). Patients not in intensive care are 176 (-2 compared to yesterday). There are 3,528 people in home isolation. A total of 362,960 patients recovered (+272 compared to yesterday).

PUGLIA – There are 243 coronavirus infections in Puglia today, 8 September 2021, according to the covid-19 data of the region’s bulletin. Since yesterday, another 5 deaths have been recorded. New cases were identified on 15,241 tests. The 94 infections in the province of Bari and the 60 in the province of Lecce stand out. Currently positive people are 3,978. There are 213 covid patients admitted to a non-critical area. In intensive care, on the other hand, 26 patients.

MARCHE – There are 15 new coronavirus infections today 8 September in the Marche, according to data from the latest covid-19 bulletin. In the last 24 hours, 1216 swabs were tested: 747 in the new diagnosis path and 469 in the healed path. The new positives are 4 in the province of Ancona, 4 in the province of Ascoli Piceno, 4 in the province of Macerata, 2 in the province of Fermo and 1 in the province of Pesaro and Urbino.

These cases include 5 returns from abroad (Albania, Germany, Ukraine), 1 return from Sardinia, 5 symptomatic subjects, 3 domestic contacts and 1 close contact of a positive case.

VALLE D’AOSTA – There are 5 infections at Covid 19 recorded on 8 September in Valle D’Aosta, according to the bulletin released today by the Region. There are no victims. In total, 12,049 people have been infected with the virus since the beginning of the emergency.

The current positive cases are 100 of which 99 in home isolation and one hospitalized. Two more patients are cured than yesterday while the overall total is 11,476. The swabs processed to date are 171. 623 cases tested 82,036.
