“This clinical situation is secondary to an oncohematological disease that he has suffered for several years. years and that required him to settle in Madrid at the end of 2017.At the moment it has been necessary to cancel the concerts scheduled for the coming weeks and suspend all his artistic activity while this circumstance lasts”, indicated a statement when the recitals were cancelled.
Pablo Milanés was one of the most vocal renowned artists of Cuban music, being the founder and architect of the Nueva Trova sound along with other renowned artists such as Silvio Rodríguez and Noel Nicola.
