Tel Aviv – The Czech women's basketball players will have their second match in the basic group at the European Championship today. The choice of coach Romany Ptáčková will play against Belgium in Tel Aviv. The match will start at 11:15.

The Czechs entered the tournament on Thursday with a hard-fought 61:58 win over Italy, despite losing by as many as fourteen points in the third quarter. Belgium didn't hesitate either, beating home Israel 108:59.
From the base group, only the best team advances directly to the quarter-finals, the teams in second and third place await the preliminary round.
