He had made his surprise appearance at the Milan Monza Motor Show 2021, in the setting of the Monza racetrack. Now, however, it has shown itself in all its details without secrets: let’s talk about the new one Dallara EXP, extreme version of the Stradale. It is not approved for use on the road, but only for that on the track: this means that from the point of view of performance the new Dallara EXP has nothing to envy to its rivals Porsche, Lamborghini and so on.
Compared to the Dallara Stradale, the EXP has a heavier weight, which reaches 890 kg. A specification that does not, however, affect the efficient downforce, much higher than that guaranteed by the Stradale. The two cars of the Varano de ‘Melegari house are brought together monocoque in carbon fiber, the same material that characterizes the entire body. However, the specifics linked to the engine obviously catch the eye: the maximum power released by the powerful 2.3-liter four-cylinder Ford turbocharged engine hidden under the bonnet. nearly 500 hp, a fact that allows the new Dallara EXP to boast a weight / power ratio far better than that of rival cars such as the Ferrari 488 Pista, just to name one. Compared to the Stradale, Dallara EXP can also enjoy a higher maximum speed: 290 km / h.
Dallara Stradale EXP, world premiere at MiMo
In combination with the powerful Ford engine, Dallara is ready to offer a standard 6-speed sequential gearbox, which on the Stradale was offered as an option to replace the 6-speed manual. Unlike what was done with the Stradale, Dallara worked on this extreme EXP version thinking it exclusively with an open roof. At the moment Dallara has not announced who will be the prices of the new EXP: according to the latest rumors the figure will be around 233,000 euros.
