Dallas beats Seattle for second straight, Toronto falls to Buffalo at home

New York – Dallas hockey players with Czech forward Radek Faksa beat Seattle 5:2 and are only one point behind Vegas, the leader, from second place in the NHL Western Conference table. Colorado beat Montreal 8:4, and Toronto couldn't handle the fight against Buffalo at home, losing 3:4.

Star hockey players on the ice of Seattle followed up on Sunday's 4:3 overtime win and won the sixth of the last seven games. Forward Jamie Benn (1+2) and defender Miro Heiskanen (0+3) led Dallas' win with three points. The team's most productive player, Jason Robertson, scored a goal and an assist to improve his season tally to 85 points.

Toronto led 2-0 at home against Buffalo after goals from Auston Matthews and Calle Järnkrok. The guests erased the hopeful lead of the Maple Leafs and turned the game around with four goals in a row. In the end, the Maple Leafs hockey players reduced the score to 3:4, but they could not do more and did not score after two wins in a row. Matthews contributed to all Toronto goals, finishing the match with 1+2. Two goal scorer Alex Tuch led the Sabers' win.
