New York – Basketball players beat Chicago in the NBA Minnesota only after the second overtime 139:131. They were significantly helped by the performance of two supports: DeMar DeRozan scored 49 points and 14 rebounds, Zach LaVine gave 39 points. Even without star Luka Doncic, Dallas won 111:110 at the Los Angeles Lakers thanks to Maxi Kleber's three-pointer in the last second.

Experienced DeRozan scored his season high with LaVine being the only Chicago players outside of the legendary pair of Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen to score at least 39 points in one game. The two Hall of Famers scored 44 and 40 points in 1996, respectively.

DeRozan and LaVine's 88-plus points surpassed Jordan and Horace Grant's 85 points in 1990, including Jordan's 69. “When you “When you get going like that, it's a lot easier. Scoring and finding teammates,” DeRozan said.

The Timberwolves had a chance to decide at the end of regular time and in the first overtime, but first they committed steps and the second time they missed a shot in the basket. DeRozan, who played nearly 52 minutes, and LaVine each hit 15 of 25 shots in the game. The more experienced of the pair also converted 17 of 18 free throws.

Nikola Vučevič followed both with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Minnesota was led by Mike Conley with 28 points and Jaden McDaniels with 25 points, Rudy Gobert scored 21 points and 19 rebounds.

With a three-pointer in the last second, Kleber gave Dallas a narrow win on the Lakers board. The German basketball player received a pass from Kyrie Irving, who was doubled by defenders, and despite the quick release, he made no mistake. “I hit a shot like that for the first time in my life,” he laughed after the game.

The Mavericks were without Dončić, and the Lakers were without LeBron James. Irving scored 38 points. The home team relied on Anthony Davis, the author of 26 points and 10 rebounds. But the star basket player missed one of two free throws with 6.1 seconds left. In total, the Lakers did not convert 12 of 31.

Even Damian Lillard's 41 points were nothing for Portland, which lost 112-126 to Boston. Lillard made 12 of 23 shots, including six of 15 threes and 11 of 14 free throws, but also had seven turnovers. The Blazers were losing by as many as 21 points.

The Celtics traditionally had supports in Jayson Tatum (34 points and 12 rebounds) and Jaylen Brown (27 points). They can still think about the first place in the Eastern Conference, which they lose one and a half games with a record of 49-22. First Milwaukee has a record of 50-20.

Despite Stephen Curry's 31 points, defending champion Golden State lost to Atlanta basketball players 119-127. The Hawks' best scorer was Trae Young with 25 points, Vít Krejčí did not play again in the game. Only 29 minutes were enough for Joel Embiid to collect 38 points, 13 rebounds and five assists. Thanks to him, Philadelphia outclassed Charlotte 121:82.
