London – Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic entered week 378 as world number one and broke former German star Steffi Graf's record for number of weeks at the top of the chart by one.

After winning the title at the tournament in Dubai, Barbora Krejčíková improved herself in the WTA ranking by fourteen places to 16th place. Karolína Muchová made an even bigger jump, moving up 35 places to 77th place after the quarterfinals in the United Arab Emirates.

Petra Kvitová remained the Czech singles number one in 15th place, in the men's ranking she is in the top 100 only Jiří Lehečka in 47th place. Kateřina Siniaková is still world number one in doubles.

The 35-year-old Djokovic became number one for the first time in July 2011 and is the only active player in the top five. Martina Navrátilová (332 weeks) and Serena Williamsová (319) followed him and Grafová.
