Doncic and Irving set a club record as only the fifth pair of teammates in the last 30 years. “We were ready for a big performance today. Me and Luka. I'm glad our hard work finally paid off, because it wasn't clear-cut,” said Irving.

Dallas took a 91-71 and 110-91 lead thanks to a great third quarter, but the Sixers responded with 15 straight points at the start of the final quarter. However, the home team took control again, ran to a double-digit difference and defended the win. Also thanks to the fact that they hit 25 three-pointers out of 48 attempts.

“Every one of them that got a shot made a 3-pointer. Sometimes you have a game like that, Dallas did today,” Sixers coach Doc Rivers sighed. Doncic hit seven threes, Irving six, Reggie Bullock five and three other players two each. The visiting team was led by Joel Embiid with 35 points and eight rebounds, Tyrese Maxey had 29 points and James Harden had 27 points and 13 assists.

The Golden State basketball players beat the Los Angeles Clippers even without the injured Stephen Curry 115:91. The star of the duel was Jordan Poole, who scored 34 points: he hit five three-pointers and 11 of 12 free throws. Klay Thompson added 19 points and 11 rebounds.

The Warriors trailed by 11 points at halftime, but dominated the third quarter overwhelmingly 42:16. The final score was 28:19. They are fifth in the Western Conference standings, while the Clippers, on the other hand, fell behind Dallas to seventh place. Kawhi Leonard's 21 points or Mason Plumlee's 12 points and 20 rebounds were not enough for the guests. Paul George remained at only 11 points and Russell Westbrook, who is still waiting for a win in his new jersey (0-4), had eight points.

Washington defeated Toronto 119-108, Kyle Kuzma contributed 30 points. San Antonio erased a two-point halftime deficit in the third quarter (31:16) and beat Indiana 110-99. The team relied mainly on Jeremy Sochan with 22 points and 13 rebounds.
