Prague – The hockey players of Pardubice confirm the role of a big favorite in the quarterfinals of the extra league playoffs. In the series against Olomouc, they also won the second home match, although this time they decided in front of a sold-out audience only in the last minute. The series between Vítkovice and Brno is tied 1:1. Kometa won 3:0 today and turned the advantage of the home environment on their side. Both series will continue on Tuesday in Olomouc and Brno.

Pardubičí won the second match against Olomouc 2:0. At 59:40, defender Peter Čerešňák decided Dynamo's win, and five seconds later, another defender, Tomáš Dvořák, scored into the empty net. Goalkeeper Dominik Furch, who kept a clean sheet, was largely responsible for the victory of Kometa, who lost narrowly 2:3 in Ostrava on Friday. He needed 33 successful interventions for that. Luboš Horký scored the winning goal in the 38th minute, Jakub Flek and Kim Strömberg scored during the home team's final power play.
“We were probably happier, it was about who would score the first goal. The goalkeeper held us up, he had a lot of great saves there and after we managed to score a goal in a four-man game, it was about the dedication of our players and we were able to defend it,” said the coach of the winners, Patrik Martinec.
