Queen Elizabeth II is well known for his diplomacy and his great patience. However, it seems that a dictator Romanian has been beyond the limits supported by the queen of England.

It takes a lot for put the nerves of the queen Elizabeth II at a lively. Yet, as reported by People, in 1978, it has not been able to contain himself. While the United Kingdom received the dictator of Romanian Nicolae Ceaușescu, his wife Elena, during a State visit of four days, it is the grandmother of princes William and Harry, who was welcoming them on their arrival at the railway station. After a short parade in a carriage open to the sky to join the Buckingham palace, she needed to take the air with her dogs. “On the occasion of this stay, she left her corgis for a walk in the gardens of the palace and she saw Nicolae Ceaușescus coming in the other direction, “said one british journalist. But she didn’t want to finish the ride with him and talk to him.

Thus, the only idea she had, it is to hide in a bush garden. It is the one and only time she had need to do that. “The Queen supports a lot of different people, but Ceaușescu was too much for her, “added the former uk foreign secretary Lord David Owen. “She clearly said that she did not like this tour !” Nobody really knows if the dictator of romania, in office from 1965 to his execution in 1989, has spotted the parade of queen Elizabeth II to avoid the cross. One thing is for sure, she must have felt very humiliated to do such a thing. A queen should not have to hide from his guests.

President Mobutu of Zaire has also disappointed the queen Elizabeth II

A few years ago with the dictator of romania, president Mobutu of Zaire has also put a strain on his diplomatic talents. She had not appreciated that it be smuggled his pet dog to customs for the visit.
