Over the past quarter century, “Emma” filmed four times. The advantages of this version — good casting, a lot of attention to costumes and “clean” frames.

In the end, this movie is solely about feelings and emotions, and even the restrained and aristocratic, where the largest sexual tension between partners can be dancing at a ball or an eloquent glance.
